Our club's breeders care about the puppies they produce, and want them to go to very carefully selected homes. Please, when contacting breeders, be honest and open about what you are looking for in a companion dog and talk with the breeder about:
— type of dog(s) you own(ed);
— whether you are looking for a 'Pet' or 'Show' or 'Working' dog;
— activities you think you might have an interest in pursuing with your Berner;
— your current household members, schedule and lifestyle;
— the area in which you live, type of housing, and safe areas in which you can exercise your Berner;
— why you think a Berner would be a good match for your goals and reasons for keeping a companion dog
